Today, the normally “select in talking about what clients we are working for at Gravitas London” is delighted to shout about the launch of our latest site.
Photobooks are a huge business in the US and the Far East but are comparatively new to the UK market.
So what are they? Think of how many digital pictures you have on your computer and how few you print out. And then once printed, you want to put them in an album or be able to show your friends the shots without having to crowd round a computer screen. So you never do!
With CameraBooks you simply download a free app (PC or Mac) launch the software and then design your own albums. You don’t need any design skills as the assistant helps you all the way through. You then upload and pay for the printed book(s) and they arrive by special delivery within 7 working days. The choice varies from a simple 8 page staple stitched A5 book up to A4 perfect bound hardbacks with up to 128 pages. There are further variations and larger format styles being added over the next few weeks as well as calendars later this year.
The choice of what to put in the books (and you can use any font to add titles and captions as well) is entirely up to you – shots of a holiday, the kids, weddings, parties. It’s a great way of keeping and being able to share all those images that otherwise languish on your computer. And they make great presents as well.
