Here’s a quick look at a project that went pretty much that quickly it seemed. From brief to completion just last Wednesday was around three weeks.
The location was the QEII Conference Centre and the event was to launch the Department of Health and Government’s Dementia Challenge. Government bodies, leading scientists in the field of dementia and representatives from the world’s pharmacy companies were meeting in London to give the event a fanfare launch.
First off was a requirement for four stands for each zone; that seemed fairly simple. A look and feel, source some medical imagery, and then organise the graphics.
But the stands needed a bit more bringing to life too, so rather than an animated PowerPoint slideshow, we suggested a one minute video for each stand showcasing what that zone was about. We then had to design these from scratch and animate them as high res videos.
Then there was all the supporting collateral.
In the first instance, a microsite PDF viewer built in HTML that could house and display the 40 plus PDFs that were essential to the conference back up.
That had to be housed on touch screens around the hall and also given to the delegates on USB sticks to view offline.
Then there was a bunch of supporting collateral. Information about the four zones, biographies of the speakers, the programme for the day, signage, and the inevitable PPT slides.
But we like a challenge. And in the end, it was all delivered on time and on budget.
Just another three (slightly busy) weeks and the sort of thing we love doing.
